The 2016 Keeneland Concours d' Elegance began it's morning with light showers, just the kind of weather you really do not want for an outdoor Car event much less an upscale Meet like the Keeneland Concours d'Elegance. Fortunately the rain was nothing major, but it was just enough to keep owners and presenters busy wiping their cars down. By 11:00 the rain had subsided, but it would be a few more hours before the Sun would make its way through the clouds

The Keeneland Concours celebrated it's 13th Annual event this year. The featured Marquee was Chrysler. Chrysler has a 90 year History of Style and Innovations. There was an extensive selection of Chrysler products being presented. Chrysler, Dodge, Desoto and Plymouth were well represented with interesting examples of their early cars, their 1930's Classics, Fabulous Fin Cars from the Fifties and Sixties and great examples of the 300 Letter Cars and Imperials

This 1937 Chrysler Imperial Town Car was Custom Built by LeBaron as a gift from Walter P. Chrysler to his wife Della. This 7 passenger Limousine is 19 feet long and despite it's Aluminum Coach Built Body  it weighs 6300 lbs. The car has gone through an extensive Restoration and has competed at Pebble Beach. The Imperial is currently owned by Howard and Rosaline Kroplick - New York

Arthur Knorr, a Broadway Producer, Special Ordered this Custom 1961 Chrysler New Yorker Town and Country. This is one of only 760 Hardtop Wagons produced. Unique features on Mr. Knorr's Town and Country are Good-Year "Captive Air" tires, a Dual Quad equipped 413 V8, Front and Rear Air Conditioning, a Record Player, Swivel Seats, Power Windows and Locks along with a Sure Grip Differential. The car was being presented by John and Lynne Cote from Connecticut

Chrysler Style and Speed which started with their Letter Cars in the '50's and continued right into the 1960's
