New Cord Listing!  1970 Cord ROYALE Roadster by SAMCO. This is a 1970 Cord built by SAMCO in Tulsa Oklahoma / New Manford. This is the very desirable “Royale” model which is a 113” wheel base as opposed to the much shorter Warrior model at 108”. Total production numbers on these Cord’s were 400 of which ONLY 100 were Royale models as the one you see here. The Royale model is powered by the powerful 440 c.i.d Chrysler engine/ 4 barrel carb. The lesser “Warrior” model came with a small block 302 c.i.d. Ford engine

The transmission behind its 440 engine is a 727 Torque flight automatic. This is a COMPLETE ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CORD FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER! Sadly most of these cars on the market have been seriously altered cosmetically and have lost much of the factory original design. Most notably the dash and interior along with the rims and side mirrors etc

The car still maintains its ORIGINAL FACTORY lacquer paint that is simply amazing! Original interior and convertible top as well as the original top boot. The convertible top does need replacing. Tires are new etc. The rear spare tire rack is a rare option, most came with just a luggage rack

Dash is original and all original factory instrument work as they should. Factory power brakes, power steering, power windows and factory air conditioning.
