Talk about your 'Barn Finds", The Gilmore Car Museum is the place to be if you are looking for Barns, especially Red Ones Full of Cars. In this Case True Classic Cars. The Classic Car Club of America (CCCA)  operates and sponsors this particular Barn. The 1st thing you see upon entering is this Gorgeous Cigarette Cream Boattail Speedster. Once I gained my composure and only after wiping my Drool Off of the Floor, Not the car, I noticed just how nice the CCCA Barn really is. Like the Auburn it too was Beautiful. All of the Red Barns on the 90 acre campus have a story. They are either Restored, moved from a another area then restored or are New. Notice the ramp to the Loft Area (upper right hand photo), that is for transporting cars to the 2nd floor. Most of the Barns have cars also displayed on the upper levels.

The CCCA Barn also houses the largest Radiator Ornament - Mascot Collection in North America. If you can imagine it they probably had one in the collection. There are many more Classic Packards, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Chryslers... being displayed than what I was able to capture. The lighting is very low in most of the areas and I did not allow for that on my Camera settings. This resulted in a bunch of Blurred pictures that I chose not to use... Now I have a Good excuse to make the trip again

This Neat Shell Gasoline & Service Station is a recreation and a very authentic one at that. It was fully stocked with everything your looking for in an Old Shell Station except for the advertised 18 Cents a Gallon Gas. Figures... It did have "Clean Restrooms"

The Pierce Arrow Society sponsors the Pierce Arrow Motor Car Company Barn. Like all of the Gilmore Barns it too is Very Nice. Best of all it is filled with Pierce Arrow treasures

The Pierce Arrow Society was founded in 1957 with the purpose of preserving Pierce Arrow Cars, Trucks, Bicycles, Motorcycles and Travel Trailers

The Train Terminal building housed another impressive Collection of Radiator Mascots. Right down the street  is the Pedal Car Museum. You guessed it, it is full of Vintage Pedal Cars with most of them being in As New Condition. I remember having an old Yellow (House Paint) Chevy Peddle Car when I was younger. I do not remember the model or year, Jeeze I was a Kid

The White Rolls Royce is from the Classic 1967 Walt Disney Movie "The Gnome-Mobile". Seeing the movie car was pretty cool but what was even Cooler was the associated movie prop that was being displayed with the Rolls. Disney had the rear seating area recreated in a large enough scale so that the actors would appear to be Gnome size... I don't know how tall an actual "Full Grown" Gnome is...  but the Prop Leather Back Seat has to be 8-10' wide (in Non-Gnome measurements of course)

George and Sally's Blue Moon Diner serve 1000's of Gilmore Car Museum guest throughout the year. It is Very Cool in side. So Cool I started to place an order and rest up in one of the booth's but there was this one food vendor setup outside the Diner serving "Redneck Fries". From the picture on the food truck I just had to try them. French Fries with Plenty of Pulled Pork on top and "Smathered" (is that a word)  in BBQ Sauce. .. Oh Yea... they were Good!  The owner and his wife were working the truck. After me emphasizing that I wanted my Fries Well Done and discussing my Kentucky accent I learned that the couple had "Redneck Fries" trademarked. They said it wasn't an easy thing to do but they did it. "Redneck Fries TM."
