McDonaldland Car and Model Show Louisville, Kentucky 2026
McDonaldland is a Private Collection of "McMemorabilia" belonging to a Generous Grandfather, Joe Fleig, wanting to give his Family a Special Place to Play and Create McMemories... OK I will stop with the "McWords"... He started with a purchase of a Frischs' Big Boy statue in 2013. The Frischs' Big Boy was Cool but the Collecting Passion soon switched to McDonald's and "He's Lovin' it
My Buddy John was telling me that he has seen The Bootlegger Grill at other events and he had heard that their "Smash Burgers" were Good - Very Good. Since I was Hungry, that was enough for me. I had to try one and I am Glad that I did. The Burger was Excellent and so were their Fries plus I liked their Food Trailer, but the Bullet Holes did make me a little nervous...
This years McDonaldland event was a Fund Raiser for Mistreated Animals with the proceeds going to the Kentucky Humane Society. The Car Show entry and event admissions were Free, only asking for a Donation. There were many donated items for the Silent Auctions and several Food and Snack Trucks The Kentucky Humane Society's Celebrity at this years show was "Ethan". He was Saved by the Humane Society several years ago and is Healthy and has been found a Home - "Life is Better with a Dog"
