Offered for Sale: This beautiful, rare, one of a kind, 1936 Auburn Speedster was professionally built by Custom Roadsters in 1990. The body is by Elegant Motors and the chassis is by Frame Designs of Indianapolis. It has a Weiand Super Charged 350 Chevy engine with a Corvette 700 R4 transmission. This Auburn has a unique body style with 2 + 2 seating and a functional trunk. The awesome 2 tone paint with pin striping was applied by an experienced professional who specializes in one of a kind vehicles. This beauty has only 17,000 easy miles and 4 new wide white wall, radial tires. Blending the best of both worlds, this car has all the modern amenities of power steering and brakes, stereo, air conditioning, driving and fog lights, Classic Instrument gauges and cruise control. Wheels are by McLean and the leather interior is by Elegant Motors. Original hub caps round out the elegant appearance of this treasure. The car was driven mostly to car shows and even took 2 laps around the Indianapolis Speedway. This special Auburn really stood out from over 300 entries and won best of show at the International Kit Car Show in 1991. It won many other 1st Place and Best of Show trophies when it was being shown. The Auburn was a feature story in Kit Car Magazine where its beautiful form covered a 2 page spread.
